THE STORY OF LUCIFER is one told forever. an angel rebels because he didn't get what he wanted and decided to go against authority. because of this, he gets sent to a prison that eventually becomes his home. it's the oldest story, the oldest morality tale. do what you're told 'lest you end up like the devil. he's the example, of course-- the prized dog turned into a street mutt. be good and follow authority and never, ever do anything bad. you don't want to go to hell, do you?not to say that the stories aren't true.the devil is real, but he isn't what you think. he's not a little red devil with a pitchfork. he lives among you, well-disguised in a form that you wouldn't take a second glance at. she's happy this way-- it's easier for her to get her hands on souls when she looks trustworthy. she has a good life, a son, and anything she could want. you see, it's easy to do what you want when you don't care much for morality, human or otherwise.so now, lucifer disguises himself as lucinda milton, a ceo for a company he hasn't created, but is pretty much his. he's happy enough as it is, despite his reputation as cold and unfeeling. it's just business, you know? it'd be harder to make friends and get ahead if he were any kinder. he doesn't show off that he's the devil all the time. it's a trump card, of course. if someone knew, that means that it's a bad time for whomever she's talking to.so, she doesn't. she paints on her face every morning and allows herself to enmesh into human culture. it's a form of worship, of course. where would lucy be if she weren't worshipped? just make sure you keep her on your good side.we wouldn't want anything bad to happen, would we?
